A. Properties-nd Charaoteristics
chloroprene rubber SN243 grade poIychloroprene has a fast rate of crystallization and its formulations exhibit high initial and ultimate bond strengths. Of the SN24x series, this grade has a slightly higher viscosity than SN242, and has a much better solubility and homogeneity than CR244. It can be used for light colored adhesives with adequate siability. Adhesive formulations based on SN243 exhibit excellent film forming properties and rapid bond format,on while the films are easiIy and safeIy processed for longer times. SN243 can be dissoived in toluene or mixed solvents. SN243 exhibits the good oil resistance, chemical resistance. ozone and aging resistance as well as the sunlight resistance,typical of polychloroprene.
