[Polychloroprene Rubber SN239]
Polychloroprene Rubber SN239 is a general purpose, mercaptan modified polychloroprene rubber prkduced using a Nairit recipe and process technology. SN239 has a medium crystallization rate and can be seen as an equivalent to the WHV grade from DuPont
A. Properties and Charaeteristics
Polychloroprene Rubber SN239 has highest Mooney viscosity in the SN23x series and has similar characteristics to SN238. An outstanding characteristic of compounds from this grade are their excellent tear strength. The vulcanizates maintain very good properties even when highly filled or plasticized. SN239 has a medium crystallizaton rate and good solubility so that it can be used to adjust the viscosity of adhesive formulations and improve their heat resistance. SN239 compounds exhibit the good oil resistance, chemical resistance, ozone and aging resistance as well as the sunlight resistance, typical of polychlorolrene. Also typical are their good fire resistance and electrical properties.
